Could just tell by the way LG was being treated.
SOMEONE AT LIVEGAMER CARE to say this is completely false?
If not, will start planning..... they will be loosing 15.00 x 5 from me, can tell you that.

If this is true that's a pretty big deal. Will they go back to Station Exchange? Maybe with the experience they have doing LoN and Station Cash they could remove the fraud problem. The only other alternative I would imagine is to change the server type and/or close them down and hopefully allow transfers off.

I said it as soon as I heard livegamer was taking over, soe was softening the blow.
Dump it off on LG, then say ok something to do with LG blah blah blah, we are closing it down. Said it many many times when I first heard LG was taking over.
NO WAY will they bring back station exchange. We all could tell how livegamer was being treated by their partner SOE this was coming.

I highly doubt LG will be losing the SOE contract (whatever that means). They just announced an marked increase in cooperation with a press release last month. Granted, it appeared to be a closer relationship with regards to the microtransaction (Station Cash) model, so who knows how the peer to peer transactions would be affected.
Based on what we have seen, I don't think this is realistic at this point. Sony would lose a lot of subscription fees, for what benefit? Fraud is non-existent. The LG servers are completely separate from the other servers. I just don't see why Sony would abandon it at this time. Granted, this makes a lot of assumptions, and with no behind the scenes knowledge, I can't state this as more than my opinion.

Bad thing is I don't think LG comes by these forums anymore either. Plohound isn't with LG anymore, and I don't think bellahj has posted in over a month.
